This is a lidded teacup made by Yakihata Mantou of Okawachiyama, Imari. Teacup height: Approximately 7cm Diameter: Approximately 6.5cm History of Hataman Touen Established in 1926 by Mantaro Hataishi under the name Manyo Gama. Later, the landscape painting that would become Hataman's representative work was created. Based in Okawachiyama, known as the "Hidden Kiln Village," where the Nabeshima clan of the Hizen Saga domain once had their official kiln, they continue to be bearers of traditional techniques.
