Thank you for looking. I liked the unglazed, earthy feel, so I bought it at a kiln in Koishiwara. It has not been used, but it has been displayed on a shelf for 4 years. It is not in the pristine condition it was when purchased, so I have priced it lower. Please understand that there are variations in color, shading, patterns, visible unglazed areas, small holes, paint drips, uneven coloring, scuffs, scorch marks, uneven firing, etc. Please purchase with an understanding of these characteristics. There was no original box, so I will wrap it in cushioning material to prevent breakage and ship it in a box.
