This is a large fan-shaped natsume (tea caddy) by Takahiro Iwakura Mine, a Kaga maki-e artist. It comes with a handwritten inscription by the 15th Urasenke Grand Master, Hounsai. This piece is easy to use, featuring finely detailed and beautiful maki-e work on a t溜-nuri (lacquer) base. Condition: I believe it is in very good condition, with no noticeable scratches or stains. *Please understand that there may be minor age-related imperfections.
