A set of two furoshiki (wrapping cloths) featuring the mascot character Mejiron from Oita, made from Tango chirimen and Sumida River chirimen. These were owned by my mother. I believe these were given as exchange goods (limited quantity) by the prefecture around 2007 as part of an eco-promotion. I've never seen my mother use them as a furoshiki, so I think they are unused. However, the green one seems a little less crisp (compared to the ocher one, so it's hardly noticeable) and has slight wrinkles, possibly because it was unfolded once and not neatly folded. The ocher one is definitely unused, but there is a faint stain on the tag from long-term storage (see photo). I don't see any stains on the main body, perhaps because of the color? (I've inspected them carefully, but please forgive any small oversights.) They both look unused at first glance. They were stored in a box, but it doesn't seem to be the original box, and it has stains, so I won't be sending it. The official size is listed as 70x70cm online, but when laid flat without stretching, they measure about 67cm square, and the ocher one is about 67x65cm, a little smaller by 2-3cm. Please forgive any slight measurement errors due to my amateur measurements. The colors in the photos may differ slightly from the actual items. They will be folded small for shipping.
