Our towels are exclusively made in Senshu, Osaka, a traditional towel-producing region in Japan, my hometown. The Senshu region of Osaka Prefecture is the birthplace of Japan's towel industry. Combed yarn is made by selecting and twisting the finest and longest fibers from cotton flowers, making it softer and more durable than regular yarn. ▼ We use fine count (30 count) combed yarn for the pile, and weave it finely. This results in a towel that has a sheen compared to regular towels, excellent absorbency, less linting, and good durability. 【About the Pile】 The towel's pile is woven longer. The longer the pile, the better it absorbs moisture.
