This item was used by a child. The dirt on the tires, etc., is as shown in the photos. Operation has been confirmed. It can still be played with. It requires 6 AAA batteries. Please note that batteries are not included when shipped. Also, the long antenna will be shipped slightly curved to fit in the box. The antenna is made of a soft material, so there is no risk of it breaking.
