Materials that are too soft, too hard, or too light in weight are excluded during production (as this affects the resonance and overall playability of the instrument). The tone is rich in vibration and easy to control, ranging from bright to dark. It is also easy to control the pianissimo, and the balance between the low and high registers has been carefully adjusted. By using a new machine instead of the one previously used for shaping, the base is slightly thicker, but the slope from the part where the reed is held in the mouth to the tip is beautiful, resulting in a responsive, stable, and well-balanced finish. The Medir material uses profiled kamaboko-shaped cane processed by Medir, and is shaped using a Reeds 'n Stuff straight shaper R1. The thread on the reed is currently light pink. Since it must be played during adjustment, it is listed as "Like New," please understand. The photos of the reed are old, so I will post new ones as soon as they are available.
