This is a set of two Sencha teacups from Fukagawa-Seiji's popular "Hyakunen-an" series, featuring the "Sasa Seiji" (Bamboo Green Glaze) and "Mikomiyama-sui" (Landscape in the Center) designs with a "Shinogi" (ribbed) finish. These are beautiful teacups (Sencha bowls) with a lovely combination of celadon glaze and pale cobalt blue. Some Shinogi Sencha bowls have the Hyakunen-an stamp inside the foot, while others do not. This particular set has the stamp impressed inside the foot. ■ Size Height: Approx. 6.8 cm Mouth Diameter: Approx. 7.8 cm *Sizes are average values. A chasen (tea whisk) is shown in the photos for size comparison, please refer to it. ■ Accessories Original wooden box (tomobako) Regarding the condition, they appear to be in generally good condition with no signs of use. However, as they are old items, please forgive any minor imperfections such as kiln flaws, dirt on the tatami mat lining, or minor scuffs and scratches. The original wooden box has some damage, including discoloration and stains on the wood. The condition rating of "No noticeable scratches or dirt" refers to the teacups themselves. Please understand that it is impossible to capture all scratches and dirt due to the nature of the items. There is also a possibility of other oversights, so please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection.
