This is a BUFFALO DVD-RAM/±R/±RW (dual-layer compatible) drive, model DVSM-XL1218U2. It's a one-owner item, purchased new. It works without any problems. When I used it after a long time, the tray only opened partway (I assisted it by hand), but it started opening normally after using it a few times.
