This is an art vase made of metal casting (copper-based), not ceramic. It is an "Hoppo Kacho" art vase, received as a gift for a friend's 88th birthday celebration in 2001. I received this vase as a gift, and I don't know the artist or the specific materials. It is a copper casting, with a lattice pattern and bird and flower decorations on the surface. There are four different patterns. Rather than using it for fresh flowers, how about displaying it for appreciation? It has been stored for a long time, but I opened the box for the exhibition.
