Deba knife, blade length 15.3cm, 213g. The spine is about 7.0mm thick near the top of the heel. Unfortunately, the maker's mark has disappeared. This is a genuine kasumi blade, made by layering soft iron and steel. The shape is beautiful, and the shinogi line is perfectly straight. It's slender but thick, so it's not an ai-deba. I believe this is its original shape. The handle has been replaced with a new one and should last for a while. I sharpened it thoroughly, put an edge on it, and polished it.
