I received this as a gift around last spring. I've never used it, and it's been stored in a drawer. (There are no stains or marks.) The fabric feels fluffy and soft, so it's thick, but I think it will protect the contents well! The size is just right for an adult's palm, and it's about 15 centimeters wide.
