This is a Chinese hanging scroll. It's a round mounting with a bag mounting (fūtai-nashi) and a decorative border (ichimonji).
It was sold in my grandfather's shop 30 years ago.
It was displayed and sold at the time, and has been stored in a paper box ever since.
Due to its age, there is a lot of deterioration, old stains, ink transfer, sun damage, and edge peeling.
There is dirt on and around the end of the scroll.
The hanging cord, the rolling cord, and the surrounding area have discoloration, wrinkles, and frayed strings.
There are many horizontal wrinkles on the main part (see photo 5).
Although there are many stains, discoloration, and spots, I will sell it to someone who can use it for crafts, handmade projects, or something else.
