There is age-related deterioration. There are scratches, stains, etc., to a certain extent. I have intentionally not covered the handwritten notes on the bottom with magic marker, etc. If you, the buyer, are concerned, you may cover them with a magic marker, etc. These dolls are in this condition, but I would be happy if you would display them if you have a connection with them.
