Please also check my profile. 2006 Upper Deck SPx WBC Daisuke Matsuzaka This is a card of pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka, who led Japan to victory as the ace in the first WBC in 2006 and was also selected as the tournament MVP. This is a WBC insert card included in the 2006 Upper Deck SPx, and it was a popular design featuring the national flag motif. For some reason, the "WBC" brand was not issued at the time, and it was included as an insert card in MLB cards, making its appearance rate low and it was quite difficult to pull a Japanese national team player. Although it is a 20-year-old card, it has been carefully stored in a dark place with desiccant, not displayed or carried around in an album. Therefore, there is no yellowing, burning, or fading, and no deterioration such as cracking or peeling due to moisture in the holographic foil stamping, maintaining a very good condition. There are no noticeable scratches and the overall condition is good, but please forgive any minor initial scratches. A magnetic holder with protected corners is also included. Stored in a resealable plastic bag. Will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap. Few WBC-related cards were issued, and they are not retroactively carded in later years.
