The fabric is soft and comfortable, with a hand-woven feel. I believe it is Ishioka Yuki Tsumugi, but it may be different. It is easy to handle and does not wrinkle easily even after washing. It was a lovely kimono with a red and black all-over pattern. It is a color and pattern that can be worn regardless of age.
