This rod has more torque than the Scorpion and bends slowly. Shimano rods feel stiff and don't give you the feeling of casting, but if you're serious about catching fish, I recommend Shimano. I have also checked the strength of the blanks, so I don't think there will be any problems with use. There are no scratches or classic cracks on the SIC rings. I don't think there are any scratches on the blanks. I have carefully checked it under light. I used ferrule wax, so there should be no shrinkage at the joints. The ferrule wax has been removed with alcohol. Shimano's Scorpion class is better. This is just a self-satisfying customization, and the blanks also bend, with X-spiral, and it's customized for monster fish.
