It's a pure oxalic acid anodized aluminum pot, more resistant to corrosion than regular aluminum pots, and has good thermal conductivity. This pot has been in the family since I got married, so it's been around for 50 years, spanning the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras. It was used once a year to make ozoni (New Year's mochi soup) for the relatives who gathered for the New Year. I simmered the broth with the bones of eight chickens to make the soup and then made ozoni. There are some scratches and dents, but it's well-made and still going strong. This is a used item with a lot of history. It has been used at least 50 times. I would like to sell it to someone who understands this. Will ship in a simple and compact package.
