Size: 1/2 Klaus Heffler 500 Purchased in 2021 from Kurosawa Violin. The violin is used, manufactured in 2007. The bow and case were new, included by Kurosawa Violin. The total cost was 135,000 yen. I was playing it until last month (September 2025). I am selling it because I need a larger size. Dominant strings are currently attached. The E string was replaced a week ago, but the others may need to be replaced soon. The case was new when purchased, but there are areas where the styrofoam in the lid is lifting when opened. The construction is rough, and there is some fabric peeling in the part where the bow tip is inserted, but there are no problems with use. I used it without any problems for storing, moving, and protecting the violin. Please understand. It is a backpack type. The bow is from Kurosawa Violin, not the violin manufacturer. It can be played without any problems at the moment, but it also needs to be rehaired soon. The violin body has small scratches, but no cracks. How about it for violin beginners or those who have been playing for 2-3 years and want to have a slightly better instrument? My daughter used it from the summer of her 3rd grade to the fall of her 4th grade. Since the size-up cycle is fast, she used it carefully and cleanly, so there are no noticeable stains or scratches.
