This is a Kutani-yaki incense burner. It's a small, charming incense burner with delicate gold painting, fine blue granules, and a high-quality color. I think it would be wonderful for display in a room. I actually used it to burn incense. As you can see in the photos, there are some areas that are burnt. There are also some light brown marks on the lid. The outside and inside are clean, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the edges.
