Old Ikat from Sumba Island, Indonesia This item was purchased about 30 years ago during a trip to Sumba Island and Lombok Island. The central part features vertical kasuri patterns of cows and people, while the ends are woven with supplementary weft, depicting figures. I was drawn to the colors of the plant dyes and the simple designs, and purchased it for my own textile collection. I am offering it for sale in hopes that someone will enjoy using it.
