It's like having all the previous Type-1 to 4 remotes in one. ★ Service mode remotes are usually unnecessary after repairing a recorder, but this type is a 3-way remote that can also be used as a simplified remote for AQUOS recorders and TVs. See images 2-11 for the function of each button. Uses 2 AAA batteries (sold separately) Although unused, there may be printing misalignments or scratches due to manufacturing variations. Please use it for HDD replacement and various inspections. ● Compatible models BD-T○○, BD-W○○, BD-S○○, BD-H○○, BD-HW○○, NW, NS, NT〇〇, 2B-C○○ (○○ represents numbers) from 2011 onwards. Also usable with some high-definition recorders from before 2010. Some models may not be compatible. BD-HDS/ HDW43, 45, and 50 are not compatible. Also, depending on the fault condition, it may not be possible to enter service mode. ※ The remote control setting for this remote is '1'. It will not operate if the remote control setting on the recorder and TV is set to anything other than '1'. Be sure to reset the remote control setting on the main unit to '1' before using. ▼ How to use as a service mode remote ① Go to 'Home Menu' → 'Settings' → 'System Operation Test', ② Press the "P.N.S" button on this remote to display the service mode screen (power button in normal mode only). ③ Then follow the instructions on the screen. ※ Turning off the power after entering service mode will cause a forced shutdown. Scheduled recordings will no longer function, so you will need to turn the power back on. HDD replacement requires special knowledge and skills.
