This is a dress remade from a silk kimono. It has been carefully unpicked and remade after washing. It has a wide body width and a relaxed fit. The silk has a beautiful luster. The square neckline is perfect for layering with a turtleneck knit underneath. The lining of the sleeves and the pocket openings use the *hakkake* (underskirt fabric). Folding up the sleeves slightly will reveal the *hakkake* and enhance the look. The length can be adjusted, so please let me know if you have any requests. The mannequin in the photo is a size 9.
