US Army tanker boots, also known as tanker boots. They have a unique appearance, but they surprisingly fit comfortably. I think they're a good choice for those who like rugged styles like work boots or engineer boots. As the name suggests, tanker boots were made for tank crew members. These boots don't have the usual lace-up design, but instead feature long straps that wrap around the foot. This detail was adopted so that if a tank was destroyed by enemy fire and escape became difficult, the wearer could easily remove the boots by cutting at least one strap. The outsole is a Vibram sole, which seems like it would perform well on snowy roads. I actually wore them in the snow and had no problems! I bought these about 15 years ago at a vintage clothing store in Osaka's American Village. I'm selling them to clear out my collection. I think they're a rare item that you rarely see even in vintage clothing stores now! They can be worn as an alternative to engineer boots, and they're a special item that you won't see anyone else wearing! The condition is good, and they can be worn without any problems!
