These are tsumami zaiku (folded fabric crafts) made with chirimen crepe. The Japanese-patterned chirimen has gold accents and is beautiful! The flowers are an arrangement of the carefully crafted double-layered maru-tsumami (round fold). They have a strong presence and look very cute and gorgeous even with just one! Perfect for the baby's first shrine visit, the first Girl's Festival, New Year's, and the Doll Festival, and to match with hakama (traditional divided skirt)! For Shichi-Go-San (7-5-3 Festival), of course, they can be used year-round to match hakama, kimono, yukata, and jinbei (traditional summer wear). They're a great addition to have for small events! I make chirimen crafts as a hobby. I made these using that chirimen. Since I don't have a large stock of the same colors, I can't make the same item twice, so they are one-of-a-kind (><) You can also see them at #oribanaya_cii. The baby clips are 3.5 cm. I haven't attached non-slip grips to the clips, but I've wrapped a ribbon all the way around the clip, so they are easy to hold even for children with little hair. You can also use them by clipping them onto your existing hairbands. They are also cute when clipped on top of hair elastics. They weigh only 4-5g, so they are easy for children to wear even if they dislike accessories. ~Notes~ Chirimen shrinks when it gets wet, so please be careful when handling it, and also on rainy days. They are made very delicately, so please do not pull or touch them strongly. I make them carefully, but there may be some glue overflow or distortion. Please understand that these are handmade items by an amateur before purchasing. I try to take pictures so that the colors of the chirimen are as close as possible to the actual colors, but there may be some color differences depending on the time of day or the type of light bulb.
