This is a Japanese tea ceremony utensil, a "Tame-nuri" (lacquered) double shelf. I believe it is unused, but due to long-term storage, I'm listing it as "near mint." There are no noticeable wobbles or scratches. The item is in very beautiful condition overall. There is some lifting of the lacquer due to aging. Please check the 7th image. The original box has some light stains.
