This is the genuine Leica flash, the SF40. It runs on four AA batteries and I think it's a great unit with good response. I bought it new from Map Camera. After that, due to a malfunction, I took it to the Leica store and had the circuit board replaced. I've used it outdoors about five times. I'm selling it because I'm changing systems. It will be shipped with the body and the box.
