This is a jumper skirt made from four types of Kurume Kasuri (a type of Japanese fabric) with unused "student" patterns and repurposed vintage fabric. It's designed like a kimono, with the front panels overlapping. There are holes for ties on both sides, so you can wear it with either the right or left side in front, as you prefer. You can also wear it with the ties in front for tea ceremony practice. The neckline, armholes, front placket, and skirt hem are trimmed with different Kasuri patterns. I think it can be worn in all seasons.
