Measure the total length of your currently used shaft (from grip end to sleeve tip). 2. Divide the measured value (in cm) by 2.54 to convert it to inches. 3. Calculate the difference in inches compared to 42 inches to determine how much shorter it will be. (Example) A shaft with a total length of 111.76cm is installed in a 45.25-inch driver → Dividing by 2.54 gives 44 inches → The difference from 42 inches is 2 inches → Replacing with the steel shaft will result in a 2-inch (5.08cm) shorter club → The finished driver will be 43.25 inches long.
