Noritake's "Folkstone" is a stoneware series developed in the 1970s, characterized by its thick, matte texture and warm, retro design. Stoneware is a type of ceramic that falls between earthenware and porcelain. It is durable, microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe, and is still a popular item as practical vintage tableware that suits Scandinavian-style dining tables. Because Folkstone has kiln changes, the glaze changes depending on the temperature and flame conditions of the kiln, and subtle color variations appear even within a single piece, so there are slight differences in each piece. As a characteristic of stoneware, there may be manufacturing irregularities, black spots, and differences in the degree and color density of the glaze, but please purchase only if you fully understand these as the individuality of the product. Size... Cup diameter approx. 6.5cm x height approx. 5cm Saucer diameter approx. 12cm As you can see in the images, one of the cups does not have a sticker. There are some with less and some with more printing distortion. The stickers show some damage. In addition, there are minor scratches, etc., due to storage that are not noticeable, so please refrain from purchasing if you do not understand that this is a reused item.
