It seems suitable not only for soup, but also for curry and pasta dishes. Unused item stored at home, I think it's in beautiful condition with a nice sheen. I purchased and stored it locally at Royal Copenhagen. There is no box. I will carefully pack and ship it. Since it is a ceramic item, returns are not accepted. Thank you for looking.
