This is a "Sometsuke Hyotan-e Large Plate" from Kakyusho Gama, an established kiln of Mikawachi ware. In a style typical of Kakyusho, the plate vividly depicts gourds entwined with bamboo, using only the shades of sometsuke gos (blue underglaze). This is an unused, long-term storage item, but it is being sold as a B-grade item because there is a star on the back (image 7).
