This is a large uchiwa (Japanese fan) printed with an original painting of "Kawamasu" by artist Hideo Nishiyama (Showa 57 - 1982) and a large uchiwa printed with an original drawing by artist Hosun Yamaguchi. The size is approximately 50 cm in length and 35 cm in width, measured by an amateur. These are used uchiwa that were purchased at an antique exhibition at a department store about 20 years ago and have been stored at home. From the time of purchase, the uchiwa have some scratches and stains. Please check the photos. The "Kawamasu" uchiwa has a box, but the box has considerable stains and dirt. The uchiwa with the original drawing by Hosun Yamaguchi does not have a box, and there is a small scratch on the side of the uchiwa. Both uchiwa are sturdy in the handle and frame and can be used as fans. They have a faded charm and would look great displayed on a wall.
