No mold inside the lens. When a strong light is shone through the lens, many small, bubble-like particles can be seen inside. (See photo 6) * I did not feel any impact on the captured images. There is some minor dust and debris present. The zoom ring rotates. AF (autofocus) is working. The aperture opens and closes. Front and rear caps are included, but the hood is not included. Everything in the photos is included.
