Selling due to decluttering. This is a koma (bridge) made from bamboo dried for ten years and then fired, increasing its hardness and density. The natural cracks created by a blade were left as is and the piece was processed along those lines. I believe it will produce delicate sounds that make the most of nature. It resonates better if the grooves for the strings are made a little shallower. Because of its arched shape, the entire koma vibrates and transmits strongly to the skin, making the second string resonate more than usual and the third string more likely to resonate in sympathy.
