This is a Chinese inkstone, a Daishi inkstone. It has a slightly brownish hue, so it's unclear whether it's a Duan inkstone or a Chengni inkstone, but it's a very good inkstone for grinding ink. Please check the size in the photos. A sturdy, hardwood box is also included.
