This is a traditional French bobbin lace from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Many motifs are connected to form a single piece of cloth. It is old, but in very good condition, with no noticeable yellowing or rust stains. It can be used as tablewear, or worn like a collar around the shoulders. I think it is a wonderful piece that allows you to feel the craftsmanship of the time. I hope to sell it to someone who appreciates it or is looking for it.
