This is a Panama hat made in Italy. The weave is fine, and I believe it's equivalent to "fine," but I'm not certain. I think it's undyed. Regarding the exterior, there is a crack on the crown. I don't think it will affect its usability. The interior seems to be in relatively good condition with little wear.
