A protective film was applied to the LCD screen from the time of purchase. When removing the film for this listing and cleaning with a cloth, 3-5 small, faint, wipe-like scratches appeared on the edge of the LCD screen. These are only visible when viewed at an angle under fluorescent light. The center area is, by the way, unscratched. (For reference, the included new protective film will make the faint wipe scratches invisible.) There are almost no scratches on the operation buttons and the ring on the back of the unit. It is almost in pristine condition. There is no paint peeling or scratches on the analog stick, the sides of the unit, or the power switch. It is in pristine condition. The accessories are also mostly in excellent condition. (The outer box has some dirt.) Operation has been confirmed: UMD game loading, Memory Stick reading, analog stick, screen, and buttons all function well. There is no unusual noise (squeaking sound) when starting game software. There is no wear on any of the buttons. There is no poor contact between the adapter and the main unit. There are no dead pixels on the LCD screen, but there is a slight burn-in visible on the edge of the screen. (See photo ⑩) No dust is visible on the LCD screen.
