Flat measurements: Chest (underarm to underarm): 34cm Waist: 31cm Length: 48cm Hard part: 45cm It has some stretch, but I think it's slim fitting. Size is listed as 128-134, but it's slim. My child is 126cm tall with a medium build and a thick chest, and the waist was very tight. I think it's suitable for children who are (medium build) 120cm-130cm or (slim build). When wearing layers, I wore it with the zipper open and only used the waist velcro. The hard part on the back was about the same length as a Salomon JM. Side mesh for good breathability. There's a snag on the velcro. Compared to Salomon's straight, 1cm+ thick protector, Alpina is thinner and fits the spine more closely. The lower fin-like part is a bit soft. Because it's soft, it's less noticeable and easier for older elementary school students to use - this is just my personal opinion. I also have Salomon protectors.
