This is an antique Nagoya obi featuring a muted brownish-purple base with gold thread and orange floral patterns. The colors in the second and third photos are the closest to the actual obi. It has an all-over pattern, so the design is beautiful no matter where you tie it. The shimmering gold thread and somewhat retro color scheme combine to create a unique depth and splendor. This obi is relatively heavy. How well it conforms to the body and how easy it is to tie varies from person to person, so it is recommended that you adjust the way you tie it to suit yourself. There is some deterioration of the fabric due to aging. There are small scattered scratches (please check the images).
