Even if you try to design from scratch, I believe it's impossible to create a design that rivals that genuine reality. I created these trompe-l'oeil pants hoping to share that one-of-a-kind coolness. Using raw silk, which hasn't been refined, spun from the cocoon after a moth has emerged, as the weft, we've created an original silk denim fabric that has the softness of silk while also having a casual feel, such as nep. We then printed on each part, creating a denim-on-denim print, which is our way of doing a trompe-l'oeil on these pants.
