Tamakushi-nuri is a unique lacquerware with an elegant and beautiful, vivid iridescence, created by applying silver powder over a base coat, then coating with iridescent lacquer colored with dyes. As this is a handmade item by craftsmen, there may be some unevenness in the coating and knots, which are difficult to see in the images.
