This is a chic and beautiful haori, featuring a refined purple background with a design of mandarin oranges and flowing water. Unusually for an antique long haori, the yoke is 66 cm. The fabric is in good condition, and it doesn't appear to have been stored in a chest for many years. It's likely that it was either remade from a recent kimono or tailored from bolt fabric.
