This is a real Cowichan sweater I bought in Canada about 20 years ago. I've only worn it two or three times and have kept it stored at home ever since, but it's still in relatively good condition. As indicated on the tag, it has a registration number and is hand-knitted. The eagle? pattern is very cool, and I think it can be worn unisex. As you can see in the photos, there is some slight pilling and a small stain on the sleeve. Please consider this item as a used item that has been stored at home for a long time.
