I received this about 5 years ago from my family as a congratulatory gift for passing my cosmetology exam. I only practiced slide cutting once with a wig. I have never cut a person's hair. Since it's 5.5 inches and I don't use it, I've kept it stored at home. I had it sharpened for this listing. I tested it by cutting tissue paper, and it cuts smoothly and satisfyingly. I don't know the market price, so I'm listing it at an approximate amount.
