Worker: Shogo Takahashi (1929-2020) Naruko Kokeshi, Naruko style, Miyagi Prefecture Purchased directly in Naruko about 25 years ago. He inherited the Takagame kokeshi from his master and father, worker Musashi Takahashi, and is one of the leading master craftsmen representing the Showa and Heisei eras. This is a wonderful work with modest, lovely eyes and overlapping chrysanthemum patterns. Size: Height approx. 24.5cm, Bottom diameter approx. 5.5cm, Head diameter approx. 7cm There is some fading of the body pattern due to aging. There are some stains in the upper and lower grooves of the body and a knot in the wood on the back of the head (Photos 6 and 7). Please check the photos.
