I used to be fascinated by how easy it was to handle compared to genuine silk Oshima Tsumugi when remaking kimonos myself, and I collected it at antique markets and the like. Back then, it wasn't widely available, and even if I found it, it was as expensive as silk, or even more so. Because it's woven, you can use either side. The fabric is thin and supple, but also sturdy. There may be some loose threads, small holes, and stains, but the condition is relatively good. Please use the good parts for your handmade projects.
