This is a mouthpiece I've been using as my main one for about six months. Tilz Christoph Eß This is a newer model released by Tilz in the last few years. It's the model of Christoph Eß, principal horn player of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. Inner Diameter: 18.0mm Bore Size: 4.4mm Cup Depth: Medium Deep Rim Thickness: Medium Wide It's a mouthpiece with a considerable capacity. I heard it was made based on a Schmidt 11-115, but the truth is unknown. The feel of the rim is quite similar to a Schmidt 11. A distinctive feature is that it has a streamlined shape like a Breslmair or Willies, without the constriction and step-like appearance characteristic of Tilz and Schmidt mouthpieces. I felt that the thicker throat area might allow for more powerful playing. I liked both the tone and the feel, but I've decided to sell it because I want to downsize one of the following: large, deep, or thick.
