It is still known as a production center for glass and jewelry. These rhinestone glass buttons are handmade by artisans using traditional methods in Jablonec nad Nisou. These buttons are made by welding individual rhinestones from the back. The Czech Republic is famous for Bohemian glass, and with that technology, artificial gemstones using glass were manufactured in the 18th century. These are luxurious bijou buttons made with rhinestones born from such history. Because they are handmade, the shapes may be irregular or asymmetrical. However, strangely enough, the distortions that are noticeable in the photos look fine when you actually hold them in your hand, and the slight imperfections don't bother you as a unique characteristic.
